CDRE France 2018 Trophy won by François, an Institut Paul Bocuse student

François Jestin, 2nd year student in International Hotel and Restaurant Management, won the CDRE France Trophy finals.

This contest has been organized for 16 years now by CDRE – ‘Club des Directeurs de la Restauration et d’Exploitation de France’, a professional association bringing together food service and operations managers at grand hotels (4* and 5*) as well as Palaces in France and in Monaco.

The CDRE Trophy, that puts students from French-speaking hospitality management schools in competition each year, aims at giving recognition and making sustainable the professions of Restaurant and Operations Directors.

For the 2018 edition which took place in Marseille, the candidates were assessed based on a hotel and restaurant case study. It was François Jestin, 2nd year student at Institut Paul Bocuse, who was finally judged as the most convincing in the eyes of the jury..
