As part of their studies at Institut Paul Bocuse, we offer our students opportunities to put into practice their skills and creativity at a range of high-level events.
Grands Chefs lunch reception at the Elysée Palace
Our Hospitality Management students were present at the Elysée Palace to wait on at the Grands Chefs lunch reception, organised prior to the Bocuse d’Or France national awards ceremony in memory of Monsieur Paul Bocuse. This prestigious lunch reception was attended by leading figures from the French gastronomy scene, Michelin-star chefs, as well as the heads of French culinary clubs and societies, international chefs and the sponsors who supported us in organising this exceptional rendez-vous.
In front of President Emmanuel Macron and leading chefs, including Guillaume Gomez, Régis Marcon or Anne-Sophie Pic, our students surpassed themselves, offering guests a quality of service worthy of the best.
Official dinner reception at the Lyon City Hall
During the 6th replenishment conference of the global fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, the President of the Republic entertained numerous leading figures and Heads of State at an official dinner reception held at the Lyon City Hall.
The waiting was carried out by our 2nd year Hospitality students, committed to offering the highest level of service to illustrious guests, including our own Head of State Emmanuel Macron, Bill Gates or the singer Bono.
Lyon Street Food Festival
Teams from Institut Paul Bocuse and the École de Cuisine Gourmets caused a sensation at the recent Lyon Street Food Festival. Accompanied by their professional training team of chefs, the Culinary Arts students revisited in a Street Food style the recipes created by Florent Boivin, our Meilleur Ouvrier de France chef.
With more than 1,500 dishes served, Master Classes and workshops organised by the chefs at Institut Paul Bocuse, the festival was a hugely rewarding experience for our students.
UNLIMITECH Sports Festival
Our students have also recently taken part in the 1st edition of the Unlimitech Sports Festival held at the Matmut Stadium in Lyon, during which they offered guests a range of culinary creations. The event focuses on sports innovations for industry professionals and the general public, aiming to promote the importance of science in further developing sporting disciplines.
Over the 3 days of the festival, a large number of sporting personalities gave guest speeches, including: Eric Abidal, Wendy Renard, Sébastien Loeb, Gérard Collomb, Jean-Michel Aulas, and many more!
