The Students’ Union in close touch with our students

In the same way as the Campus Team, the Students’ Union has also been working hard to ensure close links are kept between the various members of the Institut Paul Bocuse community. This has been done in particular via the Facebook and Instagram social networks.

We are IPB

To maintain a good-humoured atmosphere and bring students closer together during this period, the Students’ Union has proposed a range of remote activities, including a culinary competition or even Bingo adapted to a student population. The objective of the culinary challenge was to showcase their creative skills by asking them to compete in a competition organised via social networks. And as for the Bingo, the aim was for students to score points according to the number of unprecedented accomplishments realised at the Institute.

In addition, the Students’ Union and the Campus Team are working closely together for the preparations to welcome our new students at the beginning of the academic year in September. Both teams have planned a conference and a video presentation of the Students’ Union on their activities with the new cohort of students, in order to answer all of their questions.

In spite of the COVID-19 crisis, the Students’ Union remains extremely active and still has plenty of new projects scheduled.

“We’ve got lots of projects on the go, starting with the integration of the new cohort of Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students in September, the organisation of the Freshers’ Weekend as well as a range of events on the campus.”

Martin Billiet – President of the ‘AND’ Students’ Union.

The Students’ Union is at the heart of student life, ensuring a convivial and happy atmosphere both on the physical Institute Campus and at a distance.
